So this is what a soil report looks like. This one is for the soil in the area where we plan to plant corn, watermelon and pole beans. Looks like we've got some work to do to get the soil in top condition.
But before we do that, we first have to clear the area. We started yesterday by cutting down a few trees that were blocking the sun. I know it is frowned upon to cut down trees, but in this case, it is necessary in order to grow something we can eat.
....and hopefully we'll avoid seeing any more of these!
